Confidentiality Policy

The protection of client confidentiality is a priority of the Schuylkill Community Action. All employees and members of the board of directors adhere to policies and procedures for any and all record keeping and correspondence activities directly related to SCA business. A policy has been developed to ensure that information and data collected or shared will be accountable, accurate, comprehensive and within legal and ethical norms.

All staff employed by Schuylkill Community Action are expected to adhere to the policies or disciplinary action will be recommended as per the SCA personnel policy. A breach of client confidentiality may be considered a major offense as per the SCA personnel policy.

All board members of Schuylkill Community Action also abide by this policy in relation to any client information that may be shared with the Board of Directors. Failure to adhere to this policy will result in dismissal from the Board of Directors.
