Emergency Rental Assistance Program Notice

Beginning April 1, 2022, SCA Case Management will prioritize new ERAP applications for households that have not received prior assistance or have an active eviction notice. Assistance will be capped at a total of 12 months. Any further assistance is contingent on funding availability.

Emergency Rental Assistance Program

The Emergency Rental Assistance Program (ERAP) was created as an emergency response to the COVID-19 health pandemic to provide rental and utility assistance to assist households that have been directly or indirectly financially impacted by COVID-19.

Applications and all supporting documentation must be provided in order to receive the assistance. Applications and supporting documentation may be emailed to RentalHelp@schuylkillcommunityaction.com or mailed to 200 North 2nd Street, Pottsville, PA 17901.

Who Qualifies?

ERAP assistance is available to lessees with incomes up to 80% area median income that have been directly or indirectly impacted by COVID-19.
