Volunteer Food Pantry Coordinators Needed

Help manage food pantry distributions in your community. Schuylkill Community Action is seeking volunteer coordinators for locations throughout Schuylkill County.

Available Locations:

Ashland, Auburn, Girardville, Gordon, Mahanoy, McAdoo, Minersville, Orwigsburg, Port Carbon, Pottsville, St. Clair, Schuylkill Valley, Shenandoah, and Tremont.

Responsibilities:

  • Organize monthly food distributions
  • Verify household income eligibility
  • Maintain distribution records
  • Ensure safe food storage
  • Attend annual compliance training
