Brighter Holiday Project 2026

Bringing Joy and Dignity to Local Families This Holiday Season

No child should face the holidays without warmth, care, and something to celebrate.

At Schuylkill Community Action, the Brighter Holiday Project supports local children whose families are facing financial hardship. When household budgets are stretched thin, the holidays can become a source of stress rather than joy. We help bridge that gap, ensuring children experience the warmth and magic of the season.

How We Help

Thanks to the generosity of donors like you, we provide:

  • Warm winter clothing to keep kids cozy through cold Pennsylvania winters
  • Gifts that bring joy and make each child feel celebrated
  • A festive holiday meal to bring families together

Our Impact

In 2025, the Brighter Holiday Project served 49 children from 20 local families, helping hardworking parents give their kids a joyful holiday season despite financial challenges.

Looking Ahead to 2026

Economic challenges continue to affect families in our community. Our goal for 2026 is to reach even more children, ensuring every child feels valued, celebrated, and remembered during the holidays.
