At Schuylkill Community Action, collaboration isn’t just something we talk about — it’s something we actively build. One of the most meaningful examples of this is our partnership with Schuylkill United Way through a countywide initiative known as Schuylkill County HIVE.
A community-wide effort to support the Schuylkill Food Network and to aid people using SNAP benefits. Goal: Raise $25,746 to fight hunger.
SCA is thrilled to announce the receipt of a $50,000 grant, which will significantly bolster the Schuylkill Food Network’s Mobile Expansion Initiative.
The M&T Charitable Foundation announced that it has awarded $30,000 to Schuylkill Community Action as part of the “30 & 30 Initiative.”
Schuylkill Haven – Rikinkumar Desai, VRAJ Hindu Temple Manager presented a check for $11,001 to Jason Schally, the Schuylkill Community Action (SCA) Food Network Coordinator. The donation is a result of the VRAJ Hindu Temple COVID Relief Fund fundraising effort that has taken place over the last week. SCA will use the additional funds to stock Schuylkill Food Network pantries throughout Schuylkill County.
