Schuylkill Community Action (SCA) is proud to announce that three outstanding members of our team were recognized with awards at the CAAPtivating Award Ceremony on the first evening of the Community Action Association of Pennsylvania (CAAP) Conference held in Lancaster on Wednesday, October 23, 2024.

VRAJ Hindu Temple makes $11,001 Donation
Schuylkill Haven – Rikinkumar Desai, VRAJ Hindu Temple Manager presented a check for $11,001 to Jason Schally, the Schuylkill Community Action (SCA) Food Network Coordinator. The donation is a result of the VRAJ Hindu Temple COVID Relief Fund fundraising effort that has taken place over the last week. SCA will use the additional funds to stock Schuylkill Food Network pantries throughout Schuylkill County.
