schuylkill community action neighbors first 25,476 campaign success successful hunger snap benefits

When 25,746 Schuylkill County residents went without their monthly SNAP benefits, our community answered the call with extraordinary compassion.

Schuylkill Community Action is proud to announce that Neighbors First: The 25,746 Campaign has surpassed its fundraising goal, raising $28,485 for the Schuylkill Food Network. This achievement is a powerful reminder of what becomes possible when neighbors stand together in times of need.

Every dollar raised will directly support hunger relief across our county. The funds will purchase food for local pantries, enable mobile food distributions to reach underserved areas, and sustain emergency response efforts—ensuring that our neighbors have access to the nutrition they need, when they need it most.

We extend our deepest gratitude to everyone who made this campaign a success. Whether you contributed financially, donated goods, volunteered your time, or partnered with us, you’ve made a real difference in the lives of people right here in Schuylkill County. Your generosity means that no one in our community has to face hunger alone.

The work continues. You can support ongoing hunger relief efforts by giving directly to the Schuylkill Food Network or Schuylkill Community Action. Stay connected with us for future initiatives and opportunities to support neighbors in need.

Together, we are making a difference — one neighbor at a time.
